Job Description

We are looking for a warm-hearted and dependable individual to join our family as a Home Support Worker. In this role, you will provide compassionate care and support to our elderly parents (65+), ensuring they feel comfortable, respected, and safe. Your role will be vital in helping them with daily activities while offering companionship and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily tasks
• Support mobility and encourage light exercise, such as walking, to maintain physical well-being
• Help with light housekeeping duties, including laundry and maintaining a clean and pleasant home environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a caring atmosphere where they feel valued and heard

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Previous caregiving experience is an asset, though a caring attitude is most important
• Knowledge of senior care practices is beneficial
• Physical ability to assist with tasks that may involve lifting (up to 23 kg/50 lbs)
• A compassionate, patient, and reliable individual who truly enjoys helping others
