Salary range : $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)

This position will provide leadership to the department. You will bring logistics and transportation management experience to the company and will effectively communicate and foster growth among the team and logistics workers.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that the facilities operate in full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental laws.
  • Ensure company policies and values are implemented and maintained throughout the organization and all legal requirements are met.
  • Create positive change and drive a culture with clear objectives and sustain a continuous improvement environment.
  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company.
  • Develop and communicate the strategic direction which aligns with priorities of the business and develop metrics and goals that closely align with this strategy.
  • Assist the logistics team members in growing and sustaining an industry-leading organization.
  • Streamline the order process working closely with the production and sales teams.
  • Maintain strong relations with rail and trucking carriers while maintaining compliance with national and international shipping legislation.
  • Drive the communication and implementation of the strategic growth strategies and processes.
  • Work with the senior management team on budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, plan implementation, reporting systems, and company policies.

Key Selection Criteria / Experience :

  • Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven, progressive logistics leadership and strategy experience.
  • Strategic thinker capable of implementing innovative ideas that advance company success.
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for translating data into actionable plans. Financial acumen required.
