Community Living Toronto, one of the largest agencies of its kind in North America, is a dynamic innovative organization committed to a vision of promoting a welcoming community. As a leader in the field, Community Living Toronto offers supports to over 6,000 individuals with an intellectual disability as well as support to their families, including residential and day support, assistance with employment, community support, early childhood services, and respite.
Under the general direction of the Manager and Teacher, the developer will provide training and support for students completing their final year of high school. With the help of the Project Search team, they will ensure success during students’ worksite training rotations and/or competitive jobs. Individuals selected for this program will have an individual employment plan, and this role will be responsible for the transitional goals for each selected individual. The Job and Skills developer will also be required to network with internal and external employers to provide job development to graduating students for gainful employment.
