POSITION: TEMPORARY PROGRAM SUPERVISOR (Position duration of up to one year)

REGION:

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week

As a leader in the field, Community Living Toronto offers supports to over 6,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities, as well as support to their families, including residential and day support, assistance with employment, community support, early childhood services, and respite.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 1–3 years of relevant experience at a supervisory level, including experience scheduling staff.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and other software needed for reports, databases, presentations, and staff training materials.
  • Understanding of staffing ratios and their impact on safety and service quality.
  • Working knowledge of Employment Standards Act, applicable labour laws, and collective bargaining agreements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Staff Oversight: Maintain oversight of Float Support Workers and casual/relief Support Staff, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, verify timesheets, and ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Staffing, Training, and Development: Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff development activities.
  • Attendance Management: Ensure accurate timesheets and coordinate with payroll.
  • Policy Compliance: Verify compliance with policies, background checks, and mandatory training requirements.
