Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect with experience in cloud infrastructure to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Skills and Attributes for Success

1. Knowledge of recent updates and developments in cloud management strategies; ability to advise customers on cloud benefits such as unrestricted workload management, scalable workstations, and pay-as-you-go models.
2. Collaboration with the IT Security team to ensure cloud systems security for data and network resources.
3. Engineering of customer premise applications and systems interconnected with cloud resources.
4. Design and define system architecture for complex computer systems, both new and existing.
5. Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and hardware/software compatibility and security.
6. Coordinate subsystem design and integration, analyze and resolve program support deficiencies, and develop corrective actions.
7. Provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

Qualifications

1. Experience with cloud computing technologies and migration of applications to the cloud.
2. Ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
3. Knowledge of integrating services and tools across networks and data processing.
4. Implementation of security information and event management to protect assets.
5. Experience with AWS and Azure service-level agreements.
6. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, Java, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.
7. Typically, a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
