A leading environmental engineering firm is seeking a Process Mechanical Designer to join their team in Burnaby. This role involves collaborating on multi-discipline projects in the water and wastewater sectors, developing BIM documents, and executing design tasks under the guidance of senior professionals. We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Mechanical Designer to join our team. If you take pride in delivering exceptional work and wish to expand your process mechanical design skills under the guidance of industry-leading professionals, this role is for you. You will collaborate directly with senior process mechanical designers on multi-discipline projects primarily serving the water and wastewater industries.

Under the supervision of design professionals, you will develop BIM documents using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit. You will work closely with senior process mechanical designers, gaining experience in design coordination of multi-discipline models, and developing plans and sections to communicate engineering designs. Your project work will include creating P&IDs, equipment layouts, process piping and utility system designs, developing contract drawings, conducting field investigations, and supporting construction activities.
