Job Purpose:

As a Home Financing Advisor (HFA), you will maximize residential mortgage business development through third-party referral sources such as real estate agents, lawyers, financial planners, and centers of influence. Your goal is to attract new customers to the Bank.

Skills and Experience:
  • Strong sales management skills with the ability to market yourself, the mortgage business, and Scotiabank effectively.
  • A relationship builder focused on delivering excellent client experiences and growing existing relationships.
  • Current knowledge of mortgage lending policies, the real estate market, property values, sales trends, and competitor programs.
  • 3 to 5 years of industry-related experience with a deep understanding of your local market.
  • Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.
