Introduction:

We are seeking a Mill Reline Field Service Technician to join our Reline team. You will be responsible for the complete executions from the preparations until the closing report aligned to Metso Methodologies, so the team will be required to travel to remote areas where shutdown services occur. In this position, you will report to the Mill Service Reline Manager.

This position is mainly located in Canada, with up to 80% travel to customer sites.

You will join a team of Field Service Technicians dedicated to service performance, contributing to achieving customer expectations in Safety, Quality, and Timeliness. Our team culture emphasizes teamwork, providing solutions, and timely execution. Members are based in Sudbury and Burlington, Canada.

What you’ll do:
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to ensure work completion and that the field service report is completed.
  • Carry out services following methodologies, tools management, procedures, and safety requirements depending on each mine site, transferring this expertise to the Market Area.
  • Assemble liners according to the execution plan, avoiding deviations and solving unexpected situations diligently.
  • Participate in company strategies, targets, and initiatives related to Health and Safety, Operations, or Employee well-being.
  • Upgrade qualifications through courses and training.
  • Travel for extended periods is essential.
  • Observe all safety and plant rules.
Who you are:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Background in heavy construction or mining.
  • Current motor vehicle license.
  • Experience operating relining power tooling (hydraulic and pneumatic) (preferable).
  • Experience with mine ancillary equipment (overhead crane, forklifts, manlifts, telehandler) (preferable).
  • Knowledge of mill lining parts made of steel, rubber, polymer, or Mega liner (preferable).
