Job Summary

  • Maintain the stock room and oversee the receipt and distribution of supplies.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with supply check-in and verify supplies against purchase orders.
  • Forward purchase orders and packing slips to Accounts Payable.
  • Distribute supplies to appropriate locations.
  • Maintain a cost requisition system.
  • Ensure the stock room is clean, safe, and organized.
  • Obtain data on chargeable supplies used by each patient and transfer the information into the computer system for billing.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts.
  • Perform job responsibilities in accordance with the company's Code of Business Conduct, policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and professional standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and employee information to protect rights.
  • Understand growth and development principles for the entire lifespan and provide appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients as needed.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to perform job duties appropriately.
  • Read and comprehend information necessary to perform job responsibilities.
  • Work effectively under stress and respond quickly in emergency situations.
  • Work cooperatively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and staff.
