Overview

Apprentice Electrician

Join our team of leaders in controls, system integration, electrical construction, and engineering. Due to continued growth, we are seeking Apprentice Electricians.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities

  1. Install, commission, and maintain power, instrumentation, process controls, and SCADA equipment.
  2. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on power, instrumentation, and control systems.
  3. Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting of power and control systems.
  4. Coordinate repair, testing, and installation of power and control systems.
  5. Mechanical and Electrical installations:
    1. Rigid, EMT, PVC coated rigid conduit.
    2. Service, feeders, and branch circuits.
    3. Controls, fiber, and network cabling.
    4. Stainless tubing and instrumentation.
    5. Service equipment, MCC, panelboards.

Qualifications

  1. Master Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, or Apprentice Electrician is a plus but not a requirement.
  2. Field experience in the industrial field with power and control systems.
  3. Understanding of electrical schematics and controls.
  4. Self-motivated individual – able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Team-oriented, flexible and willing to assist in other technical disciplines.
  6. Hand and power tool capabilities.
  7. Willingness to be hands-on and work in the field alongside our engineers and field technicians.
  8. Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English via verbal and written methods and be comfortable and effective doing so directly to customers and co-workers.
