Job description

Job Title: Business Analyst

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Pay range: C$90 - 100/hr

Work Type: Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Summary: As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the Liquidity Risk platform and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with technical teams to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liquidity Risk Management: Analyze liquidity risk metrics (LCR, NSFR) and stress test results.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly 2052a.
  3. Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
  4. Requirement Gathering: Elicit and document detailed functional requirements.
  5. Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to design effective solutions.
  6. Project Management: Manage projects and track progress against timelines.
  7. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications:
  1. Required:
    1. Strong understanding of capital markets, including retail and wholesale products.
    2. Experience with liquidity risk management and stress testing.
    3. Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques.
    4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Preferred:
    1. Experience with 2052a regulatory requirements.
    2. Knowledge of ILST, LCR, and NSFR.
    3. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    4. Experience with Agile methodologies.
