Join Our Team as a Clinical Consultant!

As a Clinical Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting participants by providing personalized, person-centered care. You’ll manage a caseload, conduct functional behavior assessments, and design individualized support plans that empower participants to thrive. In this dynamic role, you’ll also lead engaging group sessions tailored to participants’ needs and offer expert clinical consultation to our multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Education and Professional Certification

  • Master’s degree in psychology, educational psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, nursing, or a related human services field.
  • Professional designation required.

Experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, complex needs, or co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Experience in clinical leadership and supporting team development is an asset.

Duties And Responsibilities

Services

  • Develop and oversee person-centered care plans for participants, guiding care teams in their implementation.
  • Complete functional behavior assessments and provide individual, group, and family counseling.
  • Create evidence-based, strength-focused interventions and behavior support plans.
  • Evaluate and oversee music and art therapy contracts, ensuring alignment with care plans and participant goals.
  • Adjust care strategies as needed to ensure participant success.
  • Facilitate interactive behavioral therapy (IBT) groups and specialized training sessions.
  • Participate in the development of the annual clinical strategic plan and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate and collaborate with families, participants, and referring agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care plans, supports, and outcomes.

Leadership

  • Lead person-centered care initiatives by integrating quality improvements and encouraging reflective practice.
  • Share expertise with multidisciplinary teams, providing training and consultation for professional development.
  • Guide care teams and the wider agency in person-centered approaches, including CARE principles and zones of regulation.

Management of Resources

  • Efficiently connect participants with community, educational, and clinical resources, fostering community inclusion.
  • Collaborate with the clinical director to manage budgets and monitor program expenditures.

Safety

  • Promote safe practices and procedures, adhering to agency and government regulations.

Additional Requirements

  • The Clinical Consultant must complete all mandatory training as per agency policy.
  • Professional registration with an accredited body is required

Wage Range: $82,825 to $107,078 annually.
