About the team you are joining

The Flight and Technical Operations team is a dynamic, multinational, multi-disciplinary group focused on improving ground and flight safety. We coordinate with airlines, OEMs, fuel suppliers, regulatory bodies, and SMEs to ensure fuel quality and operational safety. We also collaborate with the IATA Commercial Fuel and Environment & Sustainability teams to deliver the bi-annual Aviation Energy Forum.

What your day would be like

Reporting to the Head of Technical Fuel and under the guidance of the IFQP Steering Committee, you will manage and deliver tasks aligned with the committee's objectives.

• Analyze, develop, and implement system improvements
• Prepare and deliver presentations on fuel safety, quality assurance, and IFQP developments
• Assess inspection reports, provide findings, and offer recommendations
• Generate data analyses and stay updated on industry developments

You will share responsibilities with the Head of Technical Fuel and act as a representative in international meetings, working groups, and regulatory discussions, working closely with all stakeholders.

• You are a highly skilled Fuel Safety and Quality Professional
• You have 5-10 years of experience in fuel quality and safety management, with aviation or fuel program experience as an advantage
• You possess strong knowledge of fuel standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, ICAO, IATA)
• You can evaluate complex reports, identify trends, and develop recommendations
• You excel in creating and delivering presentations and reports
• You have critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• You can manage multiple tasks and engage with diverse stakeholders
• You have excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus
