The Challenge

The Vehicle Processing Manager will be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of vehicles from ports of entry or processing facilities to their final destinations. You will oversee compliance while maintaining strict quality and regulatory standards. This role involves managing quality and vehicle logistics in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will aim to meet service level KPIs and contribute to process improvements through reporting.

Location and Travel

This role is primarily based in St-Eustache, QC, with an expectation of 10-15% overnight travel as needed.

This is a one-year contract position with immediate start, with high potential for extension or permanent employment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee adherence to vehicle processing schedules at ports and processing facilities.
  • Coordinate between factory and port / processing teams for requested actions.
  • Ensure timely processing of vehicles according to guidelines and business needs.
  • Manage resourcing with port and processing teams.
  • Handle offline vehicle quality issues within KPIs and SLAs.
  • Provide guidance and training to port teams.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and support staff development.
  • Conduct quality and process audits and report findings.
  • Collaborate with quality teams for vehicle reports and issue resolution.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing protocols are followed.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for model changes and logistics planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in port / processing operations.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in cross-functional teams.
  • Professional certifications are a plus.
  • Strong process orientation and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive technology and body repair.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinking and adaptability to market changes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
