Job Posting Title: .NET Developer

Location: Halifax, NS (Permanent remote work accepted from anywhere in Canada; however, we’d prefer EST and CST based resources)

Description: The .Net Developer codes software applications based on business requirements. The .Net Developer work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The .Net Developer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software, oversees testing and debugging, and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction while receiving guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
2. 5+ years of experience in systems analysis or application programming
3. 5+ years of development experience
4. Experience with Microservices Architecture, building web services, security and authentication, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, SonarQube, GitHub/Git, SecAPI, application security, logging, monitoring, and alerting, Datapower.
5. Knowledge about Docker, Kubernetes platforms, networking, Splunk, Power BI reporting, and cloud platforms PCF/Pioneer, Azure, IBM Cloud Private, OpenShift/Cloud Paks, Red Hat.
