About The Role

We are looking for a strategic leader to drive strategy and planning for Uber Eats in Canada. Responsibilities include strategic planning, competitive analysis, geographic strategy, investment management, commercial deal pricing, and strategic initiatives. You will set short-, medium-, and long-term priorities for Uber Eats Canada and establish structures and processes to achieve these goals. Collaboration with cross-functional leaders in Operations, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Public Affairs, and Legal is essential.

What You'll Do

1. Partner with senior leadership on the strategy for Uber Eats in Canada.
2. Develop and execute competitive strategies for Uber Eats Canada.
3. Lead and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Uber and globally.
4. Manage and develop a team of Operations Managers to achieve their OKRs and grow professionally.
5. Work with stakeholders in Sales, Account Management, Operations, Finance, Public Affairs, Marketing, and Legal.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, analytics, tech, finance, or related fields.
• 2+ years in a people management role with leadership and mentoring experience.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategy, operations, consulting, analytics, tech, finance, or related fields at a managerial level.
• Experience developing and executing strategies in tech or consumer organizations.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives for large organizations with complex stakeholder groups.
• Financial acumen and understanding of investments and returns.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to challenge the status quo and innovate.
