Job description

We specialize in developing advertising and promotional marketing campaigns for our diverse client base. Based in North York, our office is dedicated to helping clients build their brand equity. We achieve this by creating and executing promotional events that generate buzz and drive profitability within our clients' target demographics.

As a Customer Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Sales Manager and promotional sales team in the creation, implementation, and execution of direct marketing and promotional strategies for advertising campaigns across the North York area, tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sales Manager and promotional sales team in creating cost-effective regional promotional solutions with a specialized scale to target a specific demographic and market.
  • Assist in coordinating various types of on-site promotional sales techniques to stimulate demand for each client’s products, services, and brands.
  • Display the promotional materials at on-site and in-store events; establish consumer connection and brand loyalty in a person-to-person interactive environment.
  • Proactively identify new promotional techniques to increase brand loyalty and increased profit.

As a CSR you will:

  • Train daily with the management and sales teams to become an expert in sales, client promotions, products, and strategies for enhancing new customer acquisitions.
  • Provide exceptional, personalized service to each individual in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Utilize product knowledge to offer expert advice, addressing questions related to our clients' brands and missions.
  • Customize consumer packages with competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate both one-on-one and in team settings, sharing innovative marketing and sales tactics with fellow representatives.
  • Present our clients' brands to the target audience in an engaging way that brings the brand story to life, boosts customer acquisition, and increases revenue.

What You Need to Get Started:

  • 1-2 years in a customer-based role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, tact, and a track record of success with customer-facing roles.
  • Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, and multi-task during the course of a business day.
  • Tech-savvy, or the ability to pick up concepts quickly.
  • Enthusiasm and aptitude for learning new skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
  • A university degree or college diploma in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work at the speed of the business and meet tight deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail and very process-oriented.
  • Travel to on-site promotional advertising & marketing areas will be required.
