YOUR ROLE

Are you looking to gain valuable experience in business development operations, data management, and CRM systems this summer? Join our NBD Sales Operations team and make a real impact while learning essential tools and skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

As a New Business Development (NBD) Operations Associate, you’ll be a key part of our NBD Sales Operations team. Your role supports the efficient triaging of appointments and lead generation for our NBD Specialists. You'll work with tools like ZoomInfo, InfoCanada, Apollo, and our Dynamics CRM system to source, qualify, and manage business leads.

This is a temporary 3-month summer position ideal for students looking to build experience in sales operations, data management, and lead generation. This is a hybrid opportunity out of our Barrie, ON office, working in office Mondays and Tuesdays.

What To Expect
By the end of your summer contract:
  • You’ll develop a solid understanding of how to navigate and utilize our core Pipedrive CRM system.
  • You’ll learn to clean, validate, and improve data integrity within CRM systems.
  • You’ll be able to research, check for duplicates, and upload lead records into CRM in under 10 minutes per record.
  • You’ll master the process of qualifying a prospect to GroupHEALTH standards:
    • Identifying up to 2 C-level contacts per lead
    • Creating call records and placing them in NBD Specialist queues
  • You’ll gain experience working with lead data sources like Apollo to load new lead data into the CRM.
  • You’ll support setup of marketing campaigns by sector/region.
  • You’ll build the ability to independently pre-qualify 50+ leads.
  • You’ll coordinate with NBD Specialists to capitalize on inbound customer inquiries efficiently and clearly.
YOUR IMPACT
  • Conduct data research to support outbound sales efforts
  • Create, update, and clean up CRM lead records
  • Ensure CRM data is accurate, current, and properly categorized
  • Support the consistency and integrity of lead data across platforms
THIS IS YOU
  • 1 year of lead qualifying or data entry experience
  • 1 year of experience working in an office environment
  • Comfortable with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
THIS IS NICE
  • Prior experience with any CRM platform (Pipedrive, Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Familiarity with sales or marketing campaigns
  • Interest in business development, marketing, or data management

Your Compensation

At the time of this posting, the estimated hourly rate for this position is $18-$20. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass our comprehensive total rewards, benefits, and potential bonuses that we proudly offer.
