  • $25-30/hr. with Holiday Pay & Benefits
  • Mon-Friday, 8AM-5PM
  • May require occasional nights/weekends as necessary
  • Bilingual mastery in both English and French
  • 2+ years experience engaging as a customer service in aprofessional setting/position, working with the public.

*** Please be aware Customer Service Care Representative for the Human DNA business is required to obtain government security clearance.***

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide bilingual (French & English) customer service support for the Human DNA business.
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone and written communication.
  • Navigate complex customer interactions with patience and empathy, especially when barriers exist.
  • Explain complex information clearly and concisely to customers.
  • Coordinate data collection and promote services when appropriate.
  • Work independently while contributing to a small, team-oriented environment.
  • Manage daily workload with minimal supervision; be a self-starter.
  • Follow detailed written procedures and policies in a controlled environment.
  • Perform data entry and result searches using LIMS, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Possibly assist with non-laboratory tasks related to sample collection (e.g., mouth swabs).
  • Participate in on-the-job training involving reading, observing, and listening.
  • Adhere to customer service protocols and procedures.
  • Occasionally work extended hours (evenings/weekends) to meet customer needs.
  • Travel minimally, primarily for training or meetings.

Who You Are

  • College Degree in Customer Care or University education in Biology/Genetic,
  • Bilingual mastery in both English and French
  • 2+ years experience engaging as a customer service in aprofessional setting/position, working with the public.
  • General knowledge of DNA testing methods or scientific processes obtained from a degree or Diploma program in relevant science fields such as Forensic Science, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or direct relevant laboratory experience isto provide support to the clients of the company.
  • Strong ability to work both independentlyand in a team environment
  • Must be a self-starter and able to manage workloadon a day-to-daybasis.
  • Must becomfortable working in a small team/work environment.
  • Highly organized, have an ability to multi-taskmany items comfortably
  • Ability to stay on track and follow through to completion
  • Strong understanding of customer service, and phone etiquette. Maintain patience & compassion
  • Ability to pivot quickly and shift priorities as necessary
  • Prev experience in a Doctors office or laboratory would be useful (while not working directly in the lab, may have exposure to collecting cell samples - mouth swabs)

Candidates with genetic education or previous experience working in a similar setting will be looked at before all others
