Here’s How

  • Respond promptly to requests for on-site critical incident intervention services.
  • Provide comprehensive crisis management and post-traumatic interventions, including individual and group crisis interventions, debriefings, and corporate client consultations.
  • Perform a preliminary assessment of the workplace situation and offer coaching and support to managers.
  • Manage the first impression onsite while adapting to the workplace culture to ensure the support provided is clinically appropriate and representative of the client group.
  • Consult with the CI Supervisor and relevant stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Training:

  • Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active membership with a professional college or relevant governing board.

  • Strong interpersonal awareness and exceptional first impression skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of different work environments and organizational structures with experience in workplace crisis management.
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to accept referrals with minimal notice.
  • Profound understanding of trauma, its symptoms, and the ability to offer psychoeducation and address related questions.
  • Proficiency in facilitating both group and one-on-one interactions.
  • Experience in supporting first responders.
  • Must be flexible and accessible, with the ability to periodically respond to requests at any time during weekdays and weekends.

Why Choose TELUS Health

  • Positive work environment that prioritizes diversity and inclusion.
  • Integration into a growing and continuously expanding professional network.
  • Enhanced visibility and credibility of your professional profile.
