Job description
Building Connections Behavioral Health, Inc is looking for energetic individuals who have a passion for working with children. BCBH offices are based in Walnut Creek and Antioch and serve clients all over Contra Costa County. We are a family-oriented company looking for individuals to be a part of our team. We specialize in providing exceptional behavior treatment services for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) using therapies on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We are looking for experienced BCBAs, BCBA-D, LCSW, or LMFTs to supervise our Clinical Supervisors and Behavior Therapists and oversee our clients' programs in their home or school settings in the Antioch area.
We are looking for a full-time clinic-based BCBA, BCBA-D, LMFT, or LCSW for our Antioch clinic. Caseload will include Antioch clinic cases and may include home-based clients with supervision based on ZOOM.
Responsibilities:
Create recommendations for comprehensive services.
Collaborate with all other team members of the client’s educational environment.
Training and coaching staff and facilitating treatment teams; program monitoring, etc.
Supervising Clinical Supervisors.
Provide information and training to parents, teachers, community members, and families in a caring and thoughtful manner.
Consistently conduct oversights and consult logs while onsite.
Regularly update client programs in our online system.
Frequently conduct skills assessments.
Communicate with Clinical staff about successes and challenges.
Complete appropriate and timely reports (progress, updates, etc).
Meet monthly Clinical obligations. Complete consultation hours for clients monthly.
Develop and implement skills acquisition and social skills programs (FBAs and FAAs).
Develop and implement positive behavior plans and strategies (PBSP, PBIP).
Draft conceptually well-written and grammatically correct progress reports, outlining the client’s strengths and deficits.
Reports should reflect progress, challenges, and relevant future goals and strategies.
Travel by car, from home to home to deliver and evaluate therapies.
Conduct regular meetings with BCBA exam candidates.
Required Qualifications:
BCBA-D, BCBA, LMFT, or LCSW certification is required.
Knowledge to adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and BCBA code of ethics.
Experience with ABA, DTT, PRT, VB, and clients with special needs.
Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to a client’s home or school.
The person must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, and time management skills, proficiency with writing and communication, good problem-solving skills, and work well within teams.
