Position Summary: Working as a Stockperson/Cartpusher at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. What you'll do...

1. Assist in customer service by collecting shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, returning them to a safe storage location using Walmart-approved procedures, and completing necessary logs.
2. Respond promptly to requests at all registers, assist customers with carry outs or carry ins safely, and verify receipts for proof of purchase.
3. Follow established guidelines for cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, handle chemicals properly, dispose of waste correctly, and use power equipment safely, including inspection report completion before use.
4. Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, following guidelines for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogens.
5. Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk.
6. Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures.
7. Promote safety by using personal protective equipment, such as steel toe footwear and reflective vests during cart collection for visibility.
8. Complete safety sweeps as required.
