Perimeter Institute is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer to lead its fundraising efforts and engage with donors. The CAO will work closely with senior management and the Board to develop strategies that support the Institute's mission of advancing diversity in science. This permanent position is open to Canadian citizens and residents, with a commitment to fostering a diverse intellectual community.
The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) will lead Perimeter’s advancement efforts, focusing on the strategic development and execution of its ambitious fundraising mandate. This role reports to the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for developing, leading, and implementing sustainable, long-term private funding strategies to diversify the donor base and enhance ongoing engagement and commitment to the Institute.
The CAO will also serve as a trusted advisor to the Board, the Director, and senior management, strengthening internal coordination to deliver high-impact results. This position directly influences Perimeter’s mission to advance diversity in science and foster global scientific breakthroughs that can change the world.
