Responsibilities

Software Development & Automation (35%)

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reusable technology solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams specializing in mobile / web development, microservices, DevSecOps, Generative AI, and process automation.
  • Streamline the software development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
  • Deliver automation and AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Implement Agile and Waterfall methodologies for project execution.
  • Optimize team structure and processes to maximize efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive innovation through API-driven architecture, cloud-first strategy, and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify technology opportunities that drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement best practices for intellectual property (IP) value creation in software development.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Serve as a key advisor on technology integration and architectural strategies.
  • Provide architectural assessments and recommendations for new projects.

Quality Assurance (10%)

  • Establish and enforce quality assurance best practices.
  • Ensure all software releases undergo rigorous testing and meet compliance requirements.
  • Support product managers and development teams in maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee testing and acceptance criteria to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Technical Support & Incident Management (10%)
  • Lead Level 3 (L3) incident resolution processes.
  • Ensure timely diagnosis and communication of major incidents.
  • Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for issue resolution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors to stay informed on new technology solutions.
  • Evaluate and manage external software and service offerings.
  • Oversee vendor deliverables, ensuring alignment with development standards and quality expectations.
  • Leadership & Team Management (20%)
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team.
  • Define and drive strategic goals for team growth and continuous improvement.
  • Align resources with high-priority initiatives to maximize impact.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Certifications : PMP and Scrum Master certification (required); TOGAF certification (preferred).

Experience :

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in software development, solution architecture, and technology leadership.
  • Strong background in process automation, Agile DevOps, and quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience developing AI and automation-driven solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing technology project financials.

Technical Skills :

  • Expert knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and architectural best practices.
  • Proficiency in solution architecture design and enterprise technology strategy.
  • Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies including .NET, Python, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Azure services, Azure DevOps, and Generative AI.
  • Strong ability to evaluate and implement emerging technology trends.
