Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Survey Technician.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and project requirements.
  • Provide geomatic services.
  • Aid the survey team in timely and accurate completion of surveys—set up, clean, calibrate, and remove equipment.
  • Work outside in all types of weather, sometimes at heights or in steep terrain.
  • Complete reports and follow up; aid in computer-assisted drafting and technical programs.
  • Complete daily survey tasks as assigned by your crew chief.
  • Set up operation of conventional survey and GPS systems.
  • Prepare accurate and timely field notes.
  • Clean, calibrate, and maintain survey equipment.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • High school graduate with a minimum of one year of previous experience, post-secondary training in an applicable field, or a combination of both.
  • Able to work extended hours and weekends as required.
  • A clear, concise communicator with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Computer savvy and well-versed in MS Office suite; survey-specific program experience is an asset.
  • Physically fit and able to carry GPS equipment across uneven terrain and in all climates.
