The purpose of a Transformation and Project Change Management Specialist is to lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring the successful implementation of projects and transformations. This role focuses on managing the human side of change by developing and executing strategies to engage stakeholders, minimize resistance, and facilitate smooth transitions. The specialist works closely with project teams to ensure that changes are effectively communicated, adopted, and sustained, driving both operational improvements and long-term organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the organization’s transition from Meditech to Epic electronic health record system, ensuring staff engagement, readiness, and long-term adoption.
- Assist with broader transformation efforts across the system, including alignment, standardization, and collaboration within the Atlas Alliance.
- Develop and implement change management strategies, including impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, communication plans, coaching, and training.
- Work with leadership to integrate change management activities into project plans and timelines.
- Coach project sponsors and managers, leading workshops and preparing change champions.
- Monitor change progress, stakeholder engagement, and gather feedback to anticipate resistance.
- Contribute to organization design, needs assessments, and development of training programs and interventions.
- Participate in evaluating learning technology and organizational development interventions.
- Perform other duties ensuring a safe, inclusive, and equitable work environment.
Qualifications:
- 3-year post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Change Management, Education, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in organizational change management; OD/Change Management certification preferred.
- Experience leading senior staff and front-line teams through implementation projects from a Change Management perspective.
- Proficiency in developing and executing CM & OD plans throughout project cycles.
- Strong coaching skills for project sponsors and executives.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough understanding of large-scale change, organizational development, training, and adult learning principles.
- Ability to work autonomously, lead projects, and build strong relationships.
- Creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in evolving situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual in French/English is an asset.
