Equifax Canada is seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax reporting and compliance while supporting general ledger activities. This key role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, with significant interaction with various teams. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in accounting, particularly in Canadian tax compliance, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Equifax Canada Controllership has a unique opportunity. We are looking for a Tax Manager who will also provide support and assistance to general ledger activities as needed. The Tax Manager, reporting to the Canada Controller, will lead the Tax reporting and compliance in addition to supporting the local general ledger activities as below. This position is a key role in the Canada Controllership with significant interactions with our International and Corporate Tax Team, Corporate Treasury Team, External Tax Advisors and Tax Regulators. The incumbent will join a team and company that embraces challenging the status quo and seeks continuous process improvements.
It requires an individual with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, initiative, and the ability to complete multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively, establish strong partnerships with all the business units and global geographies to work in an integrated and collaborative manner for the purpose of meeting goals, objectives, and enhancing knowledge.
