Job Opportunity: Lead Carpenter

Location: London, ON and surrounding areas

Type: Full-time, permanent role (Monday-Friday, 8-5)

Responsibilities
  1. Complete carpentry work on job sites from start to finish, including trim, framing, and drywall.
  2. Review job plans, documents, and checklists pre-construction; coordinate materials and resources.
  3. Build according to drawings and project specifications.
  4. Lead and delegate tasks to on-site laborers for timely project completion.
  5. Ensure high-quality workmanship and uphold safety standards.
  6. Maintain site cleanliness.
Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of carpentry experience, especially in remodeling trades.
  2. Experience supervising or managing renovation projects.
  3. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and layouts.
  4. Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  5. Basic carpentry tools (hand tools, skill saw, levels, squares, drills, hammer drill, nailers, ladders).
  6. Certifications such as fall arrest, WHMIS, first aid are assets.
  7. Red Seal Carpentry certification is a plus but not required.
