The Job :

Largo is seeking a self-starting, entrepreneurial individual to join as a Debt Originator – Commercial Real Estate. The role involves originating mortgage debt and equity using Largo’s network of 27 correspondent life company lenders and other institutional sources including conduits, banks, debt funds, and credit unions.

Responsibilities :

1. Originate debt & equity financing
2. Cultivate relationships with owners and developers
3. Facilitate, structure, and close commercial real estate mortgages
4. Maintain and update CRM database and activities
5. Learn & understand programs of Largo’s 27 lenders
6. Collaborate with team members
7. Gain understanding of institutional debt and equity providers

Skills and Qualifications :

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Deep understanding of commercial real estate capital markets
• Ability to work independently and in a team, building relationships and interacting effectively with partners
• Maintain confidentiality, exercise judgment, and work with minimal supervision
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Real Estate, Finance, or Economics
• 3-5 years of experience in the commercial mortgage industry
• Experience as a lender or mortgage banker is advantageous

Compensation includes a base salary plus performance-based incentives with unlimited earning potential based on transaction origination and closings.
