Job Summary:

Do you like to find new ways to connect people, communities and culture, ensuring vibrant and inclusive museums that are accessible to all? At the City of Toronto, the Museum Site Coordinators oversee museum operations, staff, and public visitation to ensure the success of the City's network of municipal museums.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the museum and site staff by planning, developing, and evaluating the operational performance and the effective delivery of museum services in the City.
Working alongside communities, you'll share authority with diverse stakeholders to ensure that the stories shared at the sites are inclusive to all - past, present and future.

Major Responsibilities:Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Collective Agreements, relatedemployment legislation, Ontario Human Rights and commitment to Truth and Reconciliation is essential, and lived experience as a member of a Black, Indigenous or other People of Colour community would be an asset. Equally important, you're familiar with Toronto Public Service values and able to support an ethical, supportive, and respectful workplace culture that champions justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.
