We are offering an internship for a Civil Designer Technology Student starting September 2025, for a 4-month term. Reporting to our Infrastructure, Water group, you will support offices worldwide from our Oakville, ON office.

We seek adaptable, self-motivated students who excel both independently and in teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships are essential. You should leverage your college and work experiences to manage your time effectively.

As the successful candidate, you will:
  • Support project teams in preparing design drawings and technical information for municipal civil projects, focusing on electrical disciplines.
  • Assist in CAD design for municipal infrastructure, including electrical drawings for water treatment plants, sewer, watermains, and roads.
  • Apply standard techniques and procedures to engineering tasks for municipal projects.
  • Coordinate with technicians and disciplines to produce design deliverables.
  • Compile design drawings and prepare technical documents.
  • Assist senior engineers, surveyors, and designers as needed.
You bring to the role:
  • Enrollment in a Civil Engineering Technology co-op program at an accredited college.
  • Strong CAD skills, with experience in AutoCAD/MicroStation.
  • A positive, results-oriented attitude and ability to work independently.
