About The Role

The role is quite clinical, focusing on all hepatitis C patients. The candidate should have a solid clinical background, preferably with CDE certification.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Provide services related to the preparation and distribution of medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and keeping patient and pharmacy records in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies.
  • Ensure administrative responsibilities for the store are met.
  • Provide exceptional patient-centered care.
  • Maintain good standing with the College of Pharmacy and an updated CPR certification.
  • Maintain a professional setting for retail and community outreach pharmacy.
  • Create a compassionate environment and support patients.
  • Maintain and protect patient confidentiality.
  • Foster professional and collaborative relationships among healthcare professionals, respond to requests, and build rapport.
  • Contribute to team efforts and corporate goals.
  • Perform clinical and drug distribution responsibilities as required.
Your Qualifications
  • Licensed to practice in the province where you seek employment.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and strong leadership skills.
  • Computer proficiency, with hands-on experience with Kroll.
  • A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from a Canadian university.
  • Completion of a national board examination through the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada.
  • Practical experience through an apprenticeship or internship program.
  • Registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Trained in principles of good pharmaceutical care, including patient counseling and care.
  • Knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy laws governing pharmaceuticals, pharmacists' roles, and pharmacy operations.
