Job Description:

Job information Dog Grooming Assistant from the Company Lucky's Doggy Daycare. This Dog Grooming Assistant vacancy is located in Burnaby, BC V5C 3X1, Canada. The position is open to candidates with a Bachelor Degree. This is an Entry Level opportunity, and the job has been published for a specific period.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible, flexible, part-time dog grooming assistant needed.
2. No experience required, but it is an asset. Must love dogs and be a people person.
3. Tasks include (but are not limited to): bathing, blow drying, brushing, nail cutting, and assisting the groomer with other tasks.
4. Availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and especially Saturdays is a must.
5. Shifts last 6-8 hours.
6. Assets include DogSafe certification or similar, experience in dog daycare, boarding, walking, grooming, veterinary, rescue, or shelter work, and operating Square payment terminals.
7. Strong communication skills, task prioritization, collaboration, and calm reaction to situations are ideal traits.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
• Ability to stand and walk for long shifts with minimal breaks.
• Ability to perform manual and repetitive tasks, such as cleaning and picking up after dogs.

• Pay: From $17.40 per hour
• Expected hours: 15-24 per week
