Currently, we have an opening for a Customer Sales Support Representative. The Customer Sales Support Representative is responsible for providing industry-leading sales support, exceeding customer expectations, fostering customer loyalty, and creating a positive experience to support sales targets.

What You Will Be Doing
  1. Monitor and process incoming customer orders.
  2. Support customer inquiries via phone or e-mail, including quotes, orders, unit downs, return requests, shipping and/or pricing concerns, and technical issues.
  3. Process weekly back-order reports: review, expedite as required, and send to customer.
  4. Understand your customer needs and communicate them to other departments.
  5. Maintain working knowledge of products and their functions for your customers.
  6. Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Sandvik’s core values and current policies and procedures.
  7. Arrange for the shipment/transport of equipment/materials.
  8. Receive incoming goods and provide logistic support where required.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in a Business-related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience.
  • Proven customer service and sales experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the mining industry is an asset.
  • Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for selling goods and services.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Familiarity with parts manuals.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
