Part Time or Full Time: PMHNP Opportunity

Grand Rapids, MI

Forest View Hospital, with over 40 years of experience, specializes in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues. We are seeking a qualified psychiatrist to join our team as part of our continued success and growth.

OPPORTUNITY DETAILS:

• Part Time OR Full Time options
• Employed position
• Outpatient setting
• Caseload includes Child / Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric patients
• NO Call for outpatient position
• Part Time: 3 days/week, 8 hours/day
• Full Time: Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day
• Duties: Outpatient medication management, psychiatric evaluations

About Forest View Hospital:

Located seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Forest View Hospital is a private psychiatric facility serving children, adolescents, and adults. It is licensed by the State of Michigan and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital offers free 24-hour assessments, acute inpatient psychiatric treatment, partial hospitalization, and outpatient medication management.

The Medication Management Clinic provides outpatient medication management, working closely with inpatient and partial hospitalization programs to facilitate short-term management and transition to community providers. The clinic is located in the lower level of the hospital. New clients can be referred by their doctors, therapists, or can call independently to schedule evaluations.

Our team of Psychiatrists and Certified Nurse Practitioners conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management for various conditions, including but not limited to:

• Depression
• Anxiety Disorders
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
• Psychotic Disorders
