Are you someone with excellent communication skills? Are you focused and determined in periods of high stress? As the successful incumbent, you will join the RBC Capital Markets Equity Finance Desk, an integral part of RBC’s Central Funding Group. You will be expected to act in the best interest of RBC Capital Markets and our clients.

Equity Finance provides liquidity to RBC’s prime brokerage clients, equity desks, and the retail client base, as well as financing to CFG clients and internal RBC desks. We have Equity Finance desks in Toronto, NY, London, and Sydney.

Required Skills & Characteristics:

• Knowledge of financial markets
• Extreme attention to detail
• Strong oral and written skills

Additional skills include being a multi-tasker, relationship builder, fast learner, and proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Programming experience (Visual Basic, Python, etc.) is an asset.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Respond to client borrow requests promptly
• Interact with Prime Brokerage clients, other Financial Institutions, Central Funding, and Capital Markets Partners
• Handle special projects as required
