Position Overview:

This role supports the execution of the Prime Contract alongside the Project Director and Law Department. It involves managing large, complex, and high-risk projects, typically supporting mid to large domestic and overseas projects. The role focuses on Prime Contract management activities to prevent financial leakage and ensure reimbursement for valid changes. It generally reports to the Project Director with functional oversight by the Law Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Project Director in executing prime contracts, including proposal participation, strategy sessions, contract review, joint ventures, subcontracting, and risk assessment.
  2. Ensure a smooth transition from contract award to project execution, supporting the project team throughout.
  3. Coordinate with Legal, Insurance, and Risk Management groups to handle commercial issues; collaborate with Project Controls and Business Services on commercial matters.
  4. Review project correspondence to protect Fluor’s rights and ensure consistency with contract terms.
  5. Assist in developing and updating the Contract Summary throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Participate in functional management reviews.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
