As an Accounting Technician, you will be at the heart of the company's financial operations. You will be responsible for managing accounting cycles and overseeing finances, ensuring the company's sustainable growth and profitability. Tasks
  • Managing daily administrative, financial, and accounting operations.
  • Implementing new procedures and reviewing existing ones.
  • Managing cash flow and investments.
  • Developing and monitoring budgets, managing risks.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements.
  • Overseeing general and analytical accounting, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax standards.
  • Perform the complete accounting cycle.
  • Update practices and policies, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Performing any other duties required for the position.

Job requirements
  • DEP or DEC in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Intermediate Bilingualism is essential (extensive communication with Western Canada).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Fidelio or SAP software (an asset).
  • Experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector (a considerable asset).
