Position: Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Manager with extensive tunnel construction and project management experience to join our team. You will represent Hatch with major clients and contribute to business development efforts in construction management pursuits. This role offers a collaborative environment with leading tunneling professionals.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Representing clients and overseeing activities of project staff.
  2. Ensuring project quality, cost, schedule, and safety.
  3. Preparing reports, specifications, plans, and studies.
  4. Monitoring contractor compliance and resolving construction issues.
  5. Managing change requests and site conditions.
  6. Overseeing tunnel construction using various methods (Drill & Blast, NATM, TBM).
  7. Managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
  8. Identifying business development opportunities and participating in proposals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • 15+ years of construction engineering experience.
  • Experience in consulting engineering and various project delivery methods.
  • Proven experience managing large tunnel projects.
  • Knowledge of tunnel engineering and construction terminology.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead staff development.
  • Commitment to safety and project delivery.
  • Client relationship management experience.
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is a plus.
