A leading company in the oil and gas industry is seeking a Certification / Completions Coordinator to manage the Completions Management System database. The role involves liaising with stakeholders, ensuring effective hand-over during construction and commissioning phases, and enhancing client capabilities. Candidates should have strong database management skills and experience in the commissioning process.
The information management specialist is responsible for liaising and consulting widely to promote and market effective Commissioning information and records management practices, coordinate needs, and provide recommendations that align with the strategic direction for departmental corporate knowledge and records management. They are accountable for managing and controlling the Wood Commissioning Services Completions Management System (CMS) database and ensuring the CMS information contributes to an effective hand-over during the construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of an oil and gas production facility.
To set up and populate the CMS database from engineering deliverables and track/report project status through check sheets, punch lists, and operational test procedure sign-offs. The role involves understanding client requirements, data collection, analysis, and problem resolution. The coordinator evaluates options, implements solutions if required, and collaborates with stakeholder groups, either formally or informally. They aim to fully address client needs, enhance client personnel capabilities, and ensure the integrity of the Systems approach to Project Execution and Management.

A combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. An education to Diploma level or relevant experience in a similar position for the past 10 years is preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the oil/gas/petrochemical field, with familiarity with onshore and refinery commissioning industries.
Strong computer skills and completions database experience are necessary.
