Join Our Team as an Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking Instrumentation Technicians of all levels for our Fort St. John, BC location. Applicants must be local, willing to relocate, or willing to travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to environmental, health, and safety policies
  • Assist with maintenance, replacement, and installation of equipment
  • Assist with calibrations and instrumentation tubing installations
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, testing, and specialty equipment
  • Operate advanced calibration equipment such as Hart Communicators
  • Handle basic instrumentation test equipment and calibrations
  • Work with advanced meters for electrical checks
  • Utilize systems like compressor panels, RTUs, BMS, etc.
  • Be aware of gas detection and fire sensors
  • Work safely around live process or equipment, following all safety procedures
Qualifications:
  • Certified Journeyman or Registered Apprentice Instrumentation Technician
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Relevant safety certifications (H2S, First Aid, OSSA Fall Protection, etc.) are assets
  • Experience in Oil and Gas industry construction or maintenance is an asset
  • Ability to work in various conditions, including heights and outdoor environments
