Are you an experienced Environmental Consultant looking for a full-time contract role in Calgary with no fieldwork? Do you have a deep understanding of Alberta's regulatory framework and a passion for delivering high-quality environmental solutions?

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee environmental consulting projects within Alberta's oil and gas sector.
  • Provide expertise on site investigations, remediation, and reclamation.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, including :

oPhase 1 & 2 Environmental Site Assessments

oSite-Specific Liability Assessments

oGroundwater Reports & Conceptual Site Models

  • Ensure compliance with Alberta's regulatory framework, including AER Bulletins and technical guidance.
  • Utilize industry software such as SiteView, Abadata, and OneStop.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver effective environmental solutions.

Qualifications

  • University degree or technical diploma in environmental studies, engineering, agrology, geology, or a related field.
  • Current professional / technical designation in Alberta with the ability to sign off on reports.
  • 10–15 years of environmental consulting experience, including project management, reporting, and past fieldwork on Alberta oil and gas sites.
  • Strong understanding of Alberta's regulatory framework for site investigations, remediation, and reclamation.
  • Proficiency in SiteView, Abadata, OneStop, and standard office software.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
