What do we do?

Co-founded by Harvard graduates, Sinica Education provides online educational services to bilingual international students in middle school, high school, and college. Our services include: online accredited courses, academic counseling, one-on-one tutoring, and other academic support and guidance to ensure our students' academic success.

Sinica Education is looking for part-time instructors to join our team. Specifically, we are seeking instructors who can tutor Advanced Placement and college-level courses. The ideal instructor would be able to cover both high school (AP) and college-level courses in two or more subject areas listed below:

• Mathematics - AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, Calculus I and II, Calculus III (multivariable), Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Discrete Math
• Statistics - AP Statistics
• Physics - AP Physics 1, 2, and C
• Computer Science - AP CSA, AP CSP
• And other higher-level high school/lower-level college subjects

Location: Online/Remote

Hours: 8-20 per week

Schedule: You can select the availability that works best for you.

What are the required qualifications?

• Native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English
• Must hold a bachelor’s or graduate degree from a top university (bachelor's degree completed prior to applying)
• In-depth content knowledge and understanding of 2-3 subjects listed above
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
• A passion for equitable education and a desire to work with international students from diverse backgrounds and academic levels

What are other desirable qualifications?

• Current MA, PhD, or EdD candidates are encouraged to apply
• Classroom teaching experience at high school or college level
• One-on-one tutoring experience with high school (AP preferred) or college students
• Experience with online learning platforms
