Do you like working with your hands and being outdoors? This may be the job for you.

Rainbow Greenhouses is looking for individuals to join our Cart Disassembly Team, responsible for breaking down garden carts from Walmart and Home Depot Outdoor Garden Centers in Powell River, BC. You can set your own hours and work at your own pace, as this is a piecework position.

This seasonal job lasts approximately 9 weeks, from May to early July, covering multiple store locations. A personal vehicle is required for travel between stores.

This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to bend and lift up to 30 lbs. Working in teams of two is preferred for multiple stores, but solo work is also possible. No tools are necessary.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work, including lifting up to 75 lbs
• Ability to push, pull, and reach
• Using a mobile app to track and report the number of carts disassembled
• Standing for long periods
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Smartphone usage required (email, photos, etc.)
• Reliable personal vehicle for traveling to multiple locations
• Safety-toed shoes (steel or composite) required during shifts
