Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to support our Hard Rock Underground Contract Mining business. If you are strategic, enjoy challenges, and want to make an impact in the region, we want to hear from you.

Reports to: General Manager Hard Rock

Shift: Monday-Friday

Safety Sensitive: Yes — drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check, and submission of a 5-year provincial driving record are required.

Travel: Up to 50% within the US and Canada.

Relocation: Not offered for this position.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop sales strategies with leadership teams to increase market share in contract mining.
  • Contribute to strategic plans for revenue expansion and work with product managers on customer strategies.
  • Implement dealer management and selection processes related to contract mining customers.
  • Investigate competitors and conduct market research to maintain competitiveness.
  • Assess customer potential with Komatsu Hard Rock products.
  • Perform opportunity analyses by customer and site.
  • Maintain accurate customer records.
  • Develop and execute business targets, including revenue and resource planning.
  • Set long-term targets supported by budgets and goals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to meet customer needs.
  • Provide regular reports on business activities and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a mining-related discipline or Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of management experience in direct sales.
  • Familiarity with underground mining industry and product applications.
  • Experience in tender submissions and contract negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of the underground Hardrock mining industry.
  • Leadership skills, relationship-building, and excellent communication skills.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
