As an Actuarial Analyst, you will contribute to pricing initiatives and collaborate with your peers to support actuarial projects to ensure the profitability of commercial and farm lines of business.

How you will create impact :

Supporting rate change projects and various actuarial models.

Working with various databases, programming languages and modeling softwares to contribute to Actuarial initiatives.

Communicating basic actuarial concepts to your peers and maintaining documentation of key actuarial functions.

Developing and maintaining knowledge of data sources including the ability to reconcile to other sources.

Upholding professional ethics, values, procedures and policies that support organizational and professional standards.

You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.

To join our team :

You have a post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Statistis, Actuarial Science or other related field.

  • You have experience working with various database, and you have strong data analysis skills.

Having successfully completed two Actuarial exams and working towards your Associate (ACAS) or Fellow (FCAS) designation is an asset.

You have basic knowledge of SAS, SQL, modeling softwares and programming languages.

  • This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Detail oriented work that requires a high degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.

  • You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
