Boom Truck Driver / Warehouse Team Member

Job Responsibilities :

  • Load trucks, make deliveries and pickups at customer and vendor locations following all safety and legal standards
  • Drive company trucks safely, complying with traffic laws and regulations
  • Complete pre-trip inspections and report mechanical issues
  • Unload materials at delivery sites, ensuring accuracy and safety
  • Manage shipping documents and understand safety regulations at all locations
  • Support warehouse operations and team activities
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management

Minimum Requirements :

  • Valid NS Boom Certification
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Experience in truck driving and deliveries preferred
  • Class 3 Lift Certification and Air Brakes Certification
  • Knowledge of relevant transportation laws and regulations
  • Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Calmness under stress and quick problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to learn and operate material handling equipment

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with plumbing or building products
  • Proficiency in Trend, Word, Excel, Outlook
