Job Title: Director, Financial Services

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director, Financial Services plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the University of the Fraser Valley. The responsibilities include:

1. Financial administration and statutory financial reporting
2. Providing strategic leadership and management of financial operations, accounting, payroll, forecasting, and financial reporting
3. Engaging with university leadership and cross-departmental teams to define and implement institutional strategies
4. Supporting the university's goals, students, and academic mission
5. Establishing and maintaining financial integrity and supporting the university’s integrated plans

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and innovative leader who:

• Produces practical financial information for informed decision-making
