Position : Marketing and Trade Show Coordinator Location : OttawaSalary : $63K to $78KDuration : 10 months with strong potential to go permanentAbout the Role : Join a collaborative team environment as the Marketing and Trade Show Coordinator supporting the day-to-day operations of the Marketing department. In this dynamic, multi-faceted role, you'll help drive product and marketing initiatives while supporting trade show planning, vendor relations, and digital marketing efforts. This position plays a key role in launching product lines and shaping brand presence across North America.Key Responsibilities : - Identify new product line opportunities aligned with business goals and market trends- Analyze consumer trends and make strategic recommendations to senior leadership- Coordinate and manage all aspects of trade show preparation including product selection, promotions, scheduling, and booth setup- Travel to trade shows in Canada and the U.S. as needed- Oversee product quality control and functionality improvements- Manage and update the company showroom used by the sales team and retail customers- Collaborate with senior management and the graphics team on product marketing strategies, packaging, and promotional planning- Review product samples and recommend adjustments to design elements (e.g., color, shape, name)- Support the Sourcing Department with vendor communication for new product lines- Plan and monitor digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms- Approve and oversee email and print marketing materials- Lead proofreading and quality control of marketing collateral, including catalogues- Organize seasonal social and corporate eventsQualifications : - College or University degree in Marketing or a related field- Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing or brand coordination role- Proven experience advising senior leadership on marketing initiatives- Strong experience in social media strategy and campaign execution- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Canva and Microsoft Office- Experience in product development or merchandising is an asset- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities- Experience planning and executing trade shows- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment- Graphic design experienceTo apply, please send your resume to Cynthia Gray at [emailprotected] AND EARN A $50 GIFT CARD!
