  • You have previous experience in the Health, Safety, and Security sector and/or safety and security experience within a retail environment.
  • You are knowledgeable of relevant safety standards, regulations, security processes, tools, and working methods.
  • You are energized by implementing safeguards that add value to the business and protect its financial and moral integrity; you can ensure the integrity of safety and security systems, guidelines, and documentation.
  • You know how to conduct risk assessments and implement the hierarchy of controls.
  • You possess good communication and documentation skills for dealing with various management levels.
  • You think and work in a risk-based manner, evaluating trade-offs between potential costs and benefits and acting accordingly.
  • You have good analytical and numerical skills.
Your Responsibilities
  • Promote risk management within the unit, sharing expertise to develop risk-aware decision-making in relation to unit goals and business plans.
  • Support co-workers by providing expertise in adhering to Ingka Risk & Compliance Rules and local legislation on health, safety, and security to ensure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
  • Promote and facilitate the completion of necessary training for unit employees.
  • Support a risk & compliance culture by utilizing systems to detect, analyze, and reduce business loss and financial impact.
  • Ensure relevant incident reports are made to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

The starting salary for this position ranges from 20 CAD to 25 CAD, based on relevant experience.
